Since the death of his father, the burden of supporting the family has fallen on the shoulders of kamado tanjiro. Although the Kamado family lives in poverty in a remote mountainous area, they lead a relatively peaceful and happy life. One day, Tanjiro decided to go to town to sell coal to earn some money. On the way back, night falls, forcing Tanjiro to take refuge in the house of a stranger who warns him of the presence of carnivorous demons that lurk in the forest at night.

When he finally returned home the next day, he saw a horrible sight: his entire family had been massacred. To top, the only survivor is her sister Nezuko, who has been transformed into a bloodthirsty demon. Consumed by anger and hate, Tanjiro he vows to avenge his family and keep the only sister he has left. Along with a mysterious organization calling itself Demon Slayer Corps, Tanjiro will stop at nothing to kill demons and protect his sister.
