Stiff person syndrome is an autoimmune and neurological disorder that causes stiffness and spasms in the trunk and extremities, according to Yale Medicine.
“Unfortunately, these spasms affect all aspects of my daily life, sometimes causing difficulties when I walk and not allowing me to use my vocal cords to sing in the way I’m used to,” added the singer. “My Heart Will Go On”.
