The Mexican Sergio ‘Checo’ Pérez (Red Bull) considered positive the free practice of the Italian Grand Prix despite his discreet times, the fourteenth of the morning practice and the sixth of the afternoon. However, he is confident that he will do well for the weekend’s race.

In this sense, the Mexican had positive statements despite not having achieved his best position in training. “We’ve been playing around with the settings, exploring different directionsso I think that, in general, we have very good information for the future”, he commented in statements provided by his team.

The pilot from Guadalajara pointed out that “also” used “different levels of downforce“, so you have “a lot of data” to review. In this sense, the practices could be taken as a setback since the Mexican has the tools to improve himself in Italy.
