Elon Musk expelled Kanye West from Twitterr after the rapper tweeted an image of a Nazi swastika embedded within the Star of Davidas well as an unflattering photo of the billionaire.
“I did my best. Nevertheless, violated our rule against incitement to violence again. The account will be suspended,” said the owner of the social network, in which the rapper’s profile already appears as cancelled.
Kim Kardashian’s ex, who currently goes by the name of Ye, had more than 30 million followers on Twitter before his suspension of which it is not known if it will be permanent.
What’s more, it comes just two months after his last ban on the platform, recently acquired by Musk after West made remarks about Hitler.
West appeared with his face fully covered by a ski mask and his hands covered with gloves in an interview on the far-right blog “Infowars” denying the existence of the Holocaust and making anti-Semitic comments.
“All human beings have value to bring to the table, especially Hitler,” West said at one point in a conversation with broadcaster and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.
Protagonist for years of headlines both for his music, his fashion brand or his personal life as for his recurring outbursts, a more unleashed Kanye West who has never set off all the alarms in recent weeks for racist and anti-Semitic comments.
Those comments have caused the artist to lose millions of dollars in contracts with shoe and clothing brands, which have canceled the agreements they had with the rapper.
Ye was last week at the residence of former US President Donald Trump (2017-2021) in Mar-a-Lago (Florida) together with the nationalist Nick Fuentes, known for his anti-Semitic views, at a dinner that has been criticized even by sectors of his party, the Republican.
