Fans captured an alleged thief at the Azteca Stadium prior to the match between Club América and Chivas del Guadalajara

Apparently, according to the version of events of some fans collected in local media, the person in question would have been responsible for an attempted robbery inside the parking lot of the sports venue.

The alleged criminal would have opened a vehicle to steal belongings and accessories such as speakers and stereo. After bursting the glass, the criminal act was thwarted after the owner and the fans became aware of the incident.

The sympathizers decided to approach the man, who in an act of reflex and survival wanted to flee, but was intercepted by those present. He was later physically assaulted before being handed over to authorities.

Videos are circulating on the networks that prove the moment in which the fans handed over the alleged thief to police officers, who would have confiscated the stolen items.

After this event, the meeting was able to develop normally and America club took a 4-0 victory thanks to goals from Brian Rodríguez, Diego Valdés and Alejandro Zendejas.
