Former employee shot at a Pennsylvania store and killed two people – La Opinion

Authorities reported that Two people were killed and three others were injured after a disgruntled former employee opened fire Wednesday inside a clothing store in Chester, Pennsylvania.

The shooting occurred at Delaware County Linen, which describes itself on its website as a “family-owned, full-service linen business founded in 1988,” serving restaurants, country clubs, hotels and other businesses.

“This is a story that is repeated too often in the United States of America. “A disgruntled employee walked into a clothing store and shot five people, five co-workers,” Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer said in remarks at the scene.

“Two have died, three are in the hospital. I ask everyone listening today in this region to pray for them right now. They are in serious condition and we are hopeful that they will survive.“, he stated according to Fox News.

Since then, the alleged shooter has been arrestedStollheimer added, calling the incident an “absolute tragedy.”

The shooter’s identity was not immediately available.

“We have two people who unfortunately lost their lives simply by showing up at work today,” Stollheimer said.

One of the victims is in critical condition, authorities say.
