The Kings League is one of Gerard Piqué’s latest projects that is giving people something to talk about. The ex-soccer player revealed during a broadcast on Twitch that this Tuesday he had a very important meeting to move the final phases of the contest to a better location.

In the company of several of the club presidents, including Sergio ‘Kun’ Agüero, the 35-year-old Catalan gave some clues about his meeting today. The newspaper Mundo Deportivo announced that the person in question is the boss of FC Barcelona, Joan Laporta.

The talks would aim to bring the final phases of the Kings League to the Camp Nou, a stadium with a capacity for more than 90,000 fans. This information coincides a bit with the clues given by Piqué.

“Tomorrow I have a very important meeting to see where we are going to play the finals in March,” he said. Later he told ‘Kun’ to reserve the last week of this month because there would be the possibility of “playing in a place that will be familiar to you.”

“Official confirmation is lacking, but all the fans will be able to come because it is a good field. This is the hot topic. Tomorrow I can have official confirmation,” she added.

According to Mundo Deportivo, that meeting took place this Tuesday at noon Spanish time. Although no agreement between the parties is yet known, apparently everything indicates that the Kings League finals will be played at the Camp Nou.

This new project of the former defender would be a success due to the media repercussions it is having. Last Sunday night, through his official Twitter account, Piqué shared statistics that reflected the views and audience captured by the competition. “The Kings League Circus,” he wrote.

According to what was published by TVTop Spain, the Kings League reached between Twitch, TikTok and YouTube an average of 654,000 users. The highest point occurred in the match between Kuni Sports (Sergio ‘Kun’ Agüero’s team) and Porcinos FC, from Ibai Llanos, when they reached 1.37 million viewers.

This project has a duration of 11 days that would take place until the month of March, approximately, and would only be played on Sundays with six commitments per date. It has Gerard Piqué as president, former players like Iker Casillas or Sergio ‘Kun’ Agüero and content creators of the caliber of Thegrefg, DjMariio, and even the Mexican Rivers.
