Harry Styles helped a pregnant fan make a gender reveal in concert.
The 28-year-old pop star headlined a concert at the KIA Forum in Los Angeles on Friday and revealed to the 17,000-capacity arena that expectant mother Sidney will soon give birth to a girl.
Speaking live on stage in a video posted to TikTok, he said:
“She is about to do the hardest thing in the world that can be done. I’m sure she’ll be fine. The most beautiful thing that can be done in the world. And she’s going to Los Angeles, this is a Friday night you’ll never forget. Here we go. can i please listen to uptight gender reveal music? I know something you don’t know! This is called edging. It’s a girl“said the singer on stage.
Earlier this November, Harry Styles was forced to pull out of his concert in Los Angeles, just hours before he was scheduled to take the stage due to illness, having postponed the concert scheduled for the previous night.
Styles revealed via Instagram: “Towards the end of the program on Wednesday I started to feel bad. and I’ve been in bed with the flu ever since. I’ve been trying my best to be able to sing tonight, but I’m leaving the doctor now and I’m devastated that it’s just not possible. I’m sorry this news is so close to show time, but it was my sincere hope that I could play for you tonight. I know several of you have planned trips to Los Angeles to see the show, and it means the world to me.”
In June this year, the “As It Was” singer helped a fan from Italy come out as gay at his Wembley Stadium concert.
The fan, named Matteo, held a sign that read: “From Ono to Wembley: help me out.”
During Styles’ two-night stay in London, the former One Direction star declared Matteo “officially gay” while raising a Pride flag over his head.
“Congratulations Matteo, you are a free man,” said the singer.
