Guatemala will face Panama in their second match

The Guatemalan soccer team will have a test by fire this Sunday when they host Panama in a match that will define the leader of group A of the Concacaf Nations League.

“It is a very difficult team, but they will also have to take care of themselves because we have a very strong attack,” said Mexican Luis Fernando Tena.coach of the Guatemalan team, when referring to the game against Panama.

Guatemala comes from defeating El Salvador 2-0 last Thursday and, in this way, they managed to position themselves in second position in group A with 3 points.

For its part, Panama, led by Dane Thomas Christiansen, arrives with 3 points in first place, after its 3-0 victory against Martinique at home.

For Guatemala the match is a great challenge since they have not defeated Panama in an official match since 2005during the qualifiers for the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
