american actress Jennifer Gray is preparing to play the popular Frances “Baby” Houseman again in the sequel to the film “Dirty Dancing”, which will begin shooting next spring, 35 years after the original was released.
Gray spoke exclusively to the American medium Extra about the new filming, which, as he confirmed, “is already a fact” and hinted that it will take place in the same fictional tourist complex, called Kellerman’s, in which the original story was staged.
The actress explained to the American media that in the second part of this love story that takes place during the summer we will be able to see a Baby “quite a few years older” and other characters from the original film will also appear, detailed EFE.
Gray admitted that preparing the sequel to Dirty Dancing, which has had a theatrical version that has been seen halfway around the world and other film versions, including a second part starring the Mexican Diego Luna, has been both complicated and exciting.
The actress did not talk about whether or not there will be the role of Johnny Castle, her partner in the original film and played by actor Patrick Swayze, who died of pancreatic cancer.
