The singer and actor Joe Jonas revealed that he had auditioned to be the lead in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’, however, Andrew Garfield He was chosen for the role of Peter Parker.
During an interview with Variety, the artist confessed that he had sought to be Spider-Man, which excited him because he said, he felt ready to fill the super suit.
Although he remembered the moment and how it was, he accepted that the actor from Tick, Tick… Boom! he was the one for the role of the spider hero.
“I remember years ago I was ready for Spider-Man and I was so, so excited and it was the year that Andrew Garfield got it. Obviously he was the right oneJoe Jonas told Variety.
While the Jonas Brothers member said he had been frustrated that he didn’t land the role, he also acknowledged Garfield’s efforts.
“I remember it was a big thing at the time, coming back for calls and learning that the director used to be a music video director and it made me think I was up for the part. But you know what? I love the process of auditioning and putting yourself out there and having to prove yourself,” added Joe Jonas.
Likewise, Joe Jonas mentioned that he did not have the opportunity to try on the Spider-Man suit, but assured that in the past he would have tried to impersonate the hero of the comics.
