Real Madrid defeated Getafe 2-1 with a goal in injury time by Jude Bellingham, who has a streak of four consecutive games with at least one goal and five goals on the four dates.
The meringues began losing the match after a defensive error by Fran García that Borja Mayoral took advantage of to pTo apply the “law of the former” and put Getafe up 1-0.
Madrid found it difficult to play offensively in the first half with a defensive block from Getafe that made the absence of Vinícius Jr. felt on the right wing.
At the beginning of the second half, Carlo Ancelotti made two changes to look for a boost on the bench. He put Nacho in for Fran García and Toni Kross for Eduard Camavinga.
A shocking second time
The changes paid off in just two minutes of the second half thanks to a cross from Carvajal, after receiving a pass from Toni Kross, who left Joselu on a rebound to get his first goal of the seasona in his first ownership.
The second half was everything for the white team, but no luck with a goalkeeper who excelled on several occasions.
Soria denied goals to Joselu, Rodrygo and Toni Kross who hit a post with his left foot and then made the Getafe goalkeeper the protagonist again.
Luka Modric was exchanged for Ibrahim Díaz, a recent signing from Milan, and Lucas Vázquez for Dani Carvajalwho did a great physical wear throughout the game.
Lucas Vázquez made a shot outside the area that the goalkeeper could not resist and Bellingham took the opportunity to put the rebound and manage to extend the streak of four victories and be the only team in La Liga with a perfect score in the tournament.
Madrid will sleep as the sole leader of the tournament, regardless of what FC Barcelona and Atlético de Madrid do, who have 7 points after three days.
Atleti will face Sevilla at the Wanda Metropolitano and Barcelona will face Osasuna in Pamplona.
