Julio César Chávez Jr. will return to the ring against former UFC fighter Darren Tillwho will make his boxing debut on the undercard starring Mike Tyson and Jake Paul on July 20 at Cowboy Stadium in Dallas, Texas, which will be broadcast on Netflix.

Instead, Darren Till asked to be released from the UFC in February 2023 to pursue his interest in boxing and now trains Liam Smith, former World Boxing Organization (WBO) light middleweight champion, and is being managed by Paul Smith.

Julio César Chávez Jr., 38, was the former World Boxing Council (WBC) middleweight champion in 2011 and last fought in December 2021 when he defeated David Zegarra. The son of the Mexican Grand Champion has a professional record of 53 wins (34 by knockout), 6 losses and one draw.

For his part, Darren Till, 31, left a mark 18 wins, including 10 knockouts and 2 submission wins, with five setbacks as an MMA professional.
