A source close to kanye-west revealed to The Blast that due to his “troubling online behavior” in recent weeks, rapper legally named Ye will no longer appear at the ceremony of the Grammy Awards 2022: “This is confirmed,” the media quoted on its website.
The gala, which will take place at the MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas, will be presented by Trevor Noah, who Kanye launched a scathing racist attack on and was subsequently banned from Instagram for at least 24 hours earlier this week.
The news claims that the decision was made in part due to fears that the two could come to blows at the star-studded party on Sunday, April 3.
His racial slur came after Trevor accused Kanye of harassing his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, with whom he has four children: North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm, since she filed for divorce.
Speaking on his show ‘The Daily Show’, Trevor said: “I’ll be honest with you: what I see from the situation is a woman who wants to live her life without being stalked by an ex-boyfriend or an ex-husband or an ex-whatever. You may not feel sorry for Kim because she’s rich and famous, because she appropriates black culture, but what’s going on is scary to watch and highlights what so many women go through when they choose to leave.”
West, on the other hand, has repeatedly pointed to Peter Davidson in a series of now-deleted Instagram posts: She criticized her relationship with Kim before making big attempts to win her back, and has accused him of destroying her family.
Also, the rapper recently released the video for his new single ‘Eazy’ which shows Davidson meeting a violent death. As if that were not enough, he continued to lash out at the ‘Saturday Night Live’ comedian and expressed his concern for the safety of Kim and her four children since Pete became a part of her lives.
“I am very concerned that ‘SKETE’ (the nickname he uses for Pete) will get the mother of my children addicted to drugs. She checks into rehab every two months,” she also claimed on Instagram.
