Kylian Mbappé is left out of the squad and there is one game left to say goodbye to PSG – La Opinion

PSG striker Kylian Mbappé has not been called up for this Sunday’s clash against Metz, of the last day of the League, so he only has the Cup final on May 25 against Lyon as his last chance to wear the Parisian colors, before he leaves the club this June.

The list distributed by the PSG coach, the Spanish Luis Enrique, leaves out others figures such as Marquinhos, Ousmane Dembélé, Vitinha, Fabian Ruiz and Gianluigi Donnarumma.

PSG already won the championship several days ago and also won the Super Cup. If he wins the French Cup against Lyon, he would achieve the treble.

Signed in 2017 from Monaco in exchange for 180 million euros, Mbappé will leave the Parc des Princes as PSG’s all-time top scorerwith 256 goals, and as the best scorer in the French League on six occasions (2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024), never seen before in the local championship.

After winning the World Cup with France in 2018 and all the local titles, Bondy’s genius has only eluded the Champions League in Paris, which he almost missed in 2020, when he lost in the final to Bayern Munich.

After being close to leaving for Real Madrid, especially in the summer of 2021, the forward announced in February that he would not renew his contract this June, although he did not reveal what his next destination will be.

Didier Deschamps predicts that Mbappé will join Real Madrid

The France coach, Didier Deschamps, said that “apparently there are not many doubts” about which Kylian Mbappé’s next club will be, alluding to Real Madrid.

“Now we are facing a second wait, knowing where it will go, although, apparently, there are not many doubts left for the moment it is made official,” Deschamps told the Telefoot program, when the journalist asked him about the more than likely arrival of Mbappé to Real Madrid.

The coach recalled that Mbappé “has done fabulous things during the 7 years he has been at PSG, with statistics that elevate him as outstanding.”
