The Mexican National Team is in a very difficult position in the Qatar 2022 World Cup. With a loss and a draw, Mexico has a great chance of remaining eliminated in the first round of the World Cup. In a reflection of Erik Moralesa former Mexican boxer, pointed out the possible problems for Gerardo Martino’s team.
“What happens is not so much from the heart. I think that like everywhere there are turners who have a lot of heart to fight, but sometimes it’s not that. Sometimes we have to forget about the heart, be a little smarter, open your eyes a little more, give yourself time. Not everything is because you put claw”, explained Morales in an interview with the left.
In that same order of ideas, the “Terrible” Morales considers that the ego is one of the factors that affect optimum performance. Much has been said about El Tri and his need to necessarily reach important positions in the World Cup.
“Have a little peace of mind, calm, patience. Sometimes intelligence is more than the heart and you have to put a little more sharing to take away that damn ego that is useless”, he sentenced.
Mexico to the fifth game
Despite the complications in group C, Érik Morales hopes that El Tri can transcend to the round of 16 of the World Cup. In the same way, the “Terrible” visualizes the selection of Gerardo Martino in the sacred fifth game in the history of the Mexican National Team.
“I would expect them to go to the second round. I have seen the news, I have not seen games (…) even if they do not aspire to win, that one of Batman and Robin is thrown. That they go to the next round, to the fifth game”, he concluded.
