For several seasons it has spread Marco Fabián’s desire to return to Chivas de Guadalajara. The Mexican left Rebaño Sagrado in 2016 and hopes to have a new opportunity at the club. Nevertheless, “Marquito” would have to make some sacrifices for his return to Chivas to materialize.
Fabián’s links with Chivas have been increasing after a meeting that the footballer held with Fernando Hierro, sports director of the club. This meeting has increased the chances of the return of the Aztec to the historic club of the Liga MX.
Marco Fabián’s sacrifices to return to Chivas
According to information from Soccer Total MX, so that “Marquito” fulfills his goal of returning to the club where he took his first steps as a professional, some conditions must be granted. In the first instance, Marco Fabián still has a contract with Mazatlán until June 2023. The Aztec must break his link with his current team in order to reach the Sacred Flock without them having to pay for their token.
On the other hand, but not least, the former Mexico international would have to accept a sizeable pay cut. It is estimated that the salary offered is around $300,000 annually.
Finally, the Aztec should commit to maintaining a good conduct within the club. This item would be used to prevent “Marquito” from having problems off the pitch and getting involved in controversies over nights out.
