
The Mexican player is still awaiting investigations into his arrest for domestic violence and may not see action for the remainder of the season.

On the afternoon of this Wednesday, September 6, it was announced that the player from the los angeles dodgers, Julio Urias was placed in the position of Administrative Licensewhile the investigations by the Big leagues for his arrest for domestic violence.
The Dodgers were in charge of transmitting this information through the different channels of communication and the main reason for this action is for violating penal code 273.5, which indicates bodily injury to a spouse or partner.
“Under an agreement between MLB and the MLBPA, Julio Urías He has been placed on administrative leave until further notice, while MLB continues its ongoing investigation. The administrative leave, which is effective immediately, is non-disciplinary under the Joint Policy on Domestic Violence, Sexual Assault and Child Abuse. We will refrain from commenting further until the appropriate time,” says the statement posted by the organization on its X account, formerly known as Twitter.
The Mexican player, upon falling into Administrative License he is cut from the roster of 40, but is still receiving his salary. The Mexican pitcher still has to collect around two million dollars, for what he remains of the season.
in the year 2019 Julio Urías he was placed on Administrative Leave for alleged domestic assault and at that time the player was required to complete a year-long domestic violence counseling program, and was suspended by MLB for 20 games.

Seventeen players have been suspended since Major League Baseball and the Players Association created the program to investigate and punish domestic violence ahead of the 2015 season.
