The death of Lisa Marie Presley It dealt a heavy blow to the artistic community. The daughter of Elvis Presley died during the afternoon of January 12, due to cardiac arrest. Faced with this sad news, various music and entertainment personalities expressed their regret, and in the last few hours, the actor Nicolas Cage issued a statement, in which he mourned the death of his ex-wife.
Through a text, the producer also confessed: “This is devastating news”, and later wrote: “Lisa had the greatest laugh I’ve ever seen in anyone. she lit up any place”. In another stretch of the statement, Cage added: “I am heartbroken. And I only find some relief in believing that now she is reunited with her son, Benjamin.”.
Lisa Marie Presley and Nicolas Cage married in August 2002, following her marriage to Michael Jackson and Danny Keough. But married life was very brief, and after four months they ended up getting divorced.
Benjamin, whom Nicolas Cage refers to, was Lisa Marie’s second child during her marriage to Danny Keough.
Harassed by social pressure and a product of his fragile mental health, Ben decided to end his life at his home in Calabasas, California, in July 2020. He was 27 years old.
