The football world was surprised after RonaldinhoBrazilian football legend, recently stated that he was not planning to watch the Canarinha matches in the Copa América United States 2024, among other things due to its current level. These words caused laughter in Raphinha, one of the main figures of the “Pentacampeona”.
In a press conference held this Saturday from the Brazilians’ concentration in the United States, the FC Barcelona player responded to ‘Dinho’s’ comments with an ironic phrase that quickly went viral on social networks.
“I don’t know if that was publicity or not, but a few days ago they told me that he wrote to Vinícius Júnior to ask for some tickets for the national team matches”released Raphinha who accompanied his forceful phrase with a smile.
“In any case, I am surprised and I do not share your opinion at all”added the midfielder in a slightly more serious tone, referring to the accusations recently made by Ronaldinho, who was one of the great figures of the Canarinha.
The former Brazilian player published some controversial statements on social networks in which he attacked the Brazilian National Team that is preparing to play the Copa América United States 2024 starting next Friday.
“That’s it folks, I’ve had enough. This is a sad moment for anyone who likes Brazilian football. It is difficult to find the energy to watch the games”wrote the world football legend who shone among other teams with FC Barcelona, PSG and AC Milan.
Raphinha also responded to Kylian Mbappé
The Brazilian midfielder also took the opportunity to refer to some statements made by the main figure of the French National Team, Kylian Mbappé, who assured that the Euro Cup, which is currently being played, is more complicated to win than the World Cup itself.
“Unfortunately for him and happily for us, he lost a World Cup against a team from South America”commented the FC Barcelona player who added that it would be interesting to see European teams having to deal with the same conditions as the South American teams.
“I would like to see the European teams play the South American qualifiers on the fields we go to. There I would see if it is easy or difficult”pointed out the Brazilian midfielder who finished: “That is Mbappé’s opinion and I cannot change what he thinks”.
The Brazilian National Team will compete in the 2024 Copa América in Group D along with the teams of Costa Rica, Paraguay and Colombia. Their first game will be on Monday, June 24 in Los Angeles against the Central Americans.
