Robert De Niro’s hotel in Tulum will open in 2026 – El Diario NY


The renowned American actor Robert De Niro and his Nobu Hotels chain are building a luxury hotel in TulumMexico. Its opening is scheduled for 2026, according to the hotel chain’s website.

This hotel will undoubtedly be important for the chain, as it will become its 30th hotel. For this project, Nobu made an alliance with the other hotel chain RCD Hotels. Clearly the idea is that this new hotel adapts to the style of Tulum.

“We are very proud to have reached our 30th hotel milestone in just nine years and honored to share the vision of our hotel. It is a special privilege to partner with RCD again and in this exciting new project as Nobu Hotel and Residences Tulum“said Trevor Horwell, current CEO of the chain.

It should be remembered that De Niro created this company together with the Japanese chef Nobu Matsuhisa and the producer Meir Teper.

What is known about the Nobu Hotel and Residences Tulum?

El Nobu Hotel and Residences Tulum will offer 200 rooms of different typesfrom the simplest to luxury suites and villas, but all will have many comforts and luxuries to make the experience top notch.

It will also have common areas, swimming pools, beach, meeting rooms, gym, spa, bar and restaurantsincluding the already well-known Nobu restaurant that is in all its hotels.

The website describes the hotel: “Powder-soft white sand beaches, coastal Mayan ruins and one of the largest barrier reefs in the world, Tulum is an idyllic location for sun-loving adventurers.”

In parallel to the creation of this hotel in Tulum, the hotel chain is planning headquarters in New Orleans, New York, Orlando, Punta Cana and Toronto.
