Roberto Antonio reappears on the music scene with a tribute album to Argentine Leo Dan. With this he even had the opportunity to record one of his most emblematic songs as a duet: «Mary is my love«.
This, he said, is the first of several tribute albums that he plans to make for other artists such as Leonardo Fabio, José Luis Rodríguez, Franco De Vita or Ricardo Montaner.
Without forgetting the merengue that has marked his career for almost four decades, the Zuliano said that “what I did was look for a fusion so that he would get closer to young people. For this reason, it is not my traditional technomerengue, but dembow, which is the genre that is currently playing”.
The production contains 11 songs and all of them already have their video clip, except for the one she performed with Dan.
“We are looking for the opportunity to record it with him, just like we did with the song. I loved meeting him and finding a person, an artist, as simple and close as he was,” said Roberto Antonio. At the same time, he announced that he would end the year on tour with Omar Enrique.
