The film was set in the Baroque period and tells us, with fantasy reminiscent of children’s tales, the story of three kingdoms and their monarchs. The Mexican embodies the queen of Longtrellis and the terrible story of her husband, who was brought to life by John C. Reilly.
The premise takes us through this monarch’s most desperate attempt to get pregnant, her last option being to eat the heart of a water dragon cooked by a virgin, with the promise of getting pregnant instantly.
