Nine years ago, news shook the world: the actor Paul Walker he had died in a car accident. Precisely, thanks to the success of the ‘Fast and Furious’ saga, the actor had reached the peak of popularity and was also enjoying an unbeatable personal moment: he was dating Jasmine Pilchard-Gosnell and fully enjoyed his fatherhood. During his funeral, the images of his little daughter meadow -fruit of his marriage to Rebeca Soteros- saddened thousands of fans.
This Wednesday, that little girl – who today is already a 24-year-old woman and has an incipient career as a model – turned to her social networks to pay tribute to her father. On her Instagram account, she shared a cute old black and white photo of Walker teaching her how to bowl. “Nine years without you. I love you so much my angel”he wrote as a dedication.
In a recent interview published by Page Six, Meadow explained how she keeps her father’s memory alive: by watching all his movies. “They always say that the first thing you forget about someone is his voice, so I’m lucky to have his voice in many films,” she said. And she revealed: “I like to watch his movies at night. And it always, always gives me great joy to talk about him and keep his spirit alive.”he added.
Undoubtedly, after the death of his father, Meadow found great support in Vince Diesel, his godfather and one of Walker’s best friends. Who also dedicated a message on Instagram this Wednesday for his colleague. Alongside an image showing the two of them together, she wrote: “Nine years… I love you and I miss you”.
It should be noted that Vin Diesel was the person Meadow chose to deliver her at the altar when she married Louis Thornton-Allan, in 2021.
