Some nannies specialize in a particular type of gardening, like Planetarium Nannies who specializes in gardening in the Planetariums found on every map. The more you plan your Sims’ garden, the more of the different types of Nannies you will get. Each nanny can also have up to 10 Sims as his/her charges, giving them even more reasons to visit your garden.

If you like to spend hours gardening then you may have wondered about Gardening Tools. Gardening Tools help you to grow your plants easily. The various tools are found in the Skills screen. So, before picking any tool, you need to learn that particular skill. You can check the Skills Screen on your character screen to learn about your Sims’ special abilities. Make sure you know your Sims’ Power.

For example, the Power of Singing for your plants, Big Game Hunter for your animals, and so on. Always perform self-care, for example brushing your hair and using the bathroom. It will make your Sims become healthier, happier, and capable to do their tasks. You can use various tools for the gardening tasks, but the basic tools of gardening are the Shovel and the Hoe.

To start a gardening area, you must select a spot from the Inventory. You will need to level up a gardening skill first and then you can start to set up your garden. If you are lucky, you may already have a spot to start with your new garden.
