Singer Taylor Swift I was a big fan of the novels and movies of the saga “twilight”, and it may still be despite the fact that some fans who were once staunch now argue that the films have not aged exactly well.
There is another circumstance that could have altered the pop star’s impression of such tapes. The director of the installment “New Moon”, from 2009, has now revealed that the interpreter asked to appear in the plot through a simple cameo: a proposal that was rejected by filmmaker Chris Weitz.
The filmmaker has explained that having a superstar of the stature of Taylor Swift in the adventure could be a huge distraction for the public.although now he slightly regrets having said no, thus destroying any possibility of forging a friendship with the artist. The diva, according to Weitz, insisted on her request, assuring that she would not mind playing a waitress or any character that she could play as an extra.
“Taylor and I had the same agent, and he told me that Taylor wanted to be in the movie because she was a big fan of “Twilight”. It was hard to deny me but even harder would have been that, by the time Taylor Swift appeared on the screen, even if only for five minutes, no one would be able to process anything else. We could have been friends, I don’t stop complaining about it, but we did our best for the film”, he indicated during his visit to the podcast ‘The Twilight Effect’.
