Nashville SC and Inter Miami will play this Saturday in the final of the Leagues Cup that has Hany Mukhtar, the star striker for Nashville who wants to crash Lionel Messi’s party.
Hany Mukhtar is a 28-year-old striker born in Berlin (Germany). Mukhtar joined the MLS team in 2020 after a stint with Hertha Berlin, Benfica, Salzburg and Brondby. In MLS he found his prime where he started to be the top scorer of the tournament.
Since his arrival, the German has scored 65 goals and 39 assists in 119 games.
In 2022, Mukhtar was the tournament’s leading scorer with 23 goals, as well as 7 assists.. The German striker was chosen as the Most Valuable Player of the MLS in that season.
This year Mukhtar continues with the goalscoring rhythm he showed last year with 13 goals and 7 assists in 24 games played. In the Leagues Cup he has scored 2 goals in 6 games.
Nashville, city of music, will host the Leagues Cup final
