The controversy over the trial between Amber Heard and Johnny Depp has caused the actress to be harshly criticized and for the same reason, the actor’s fans have asked that she be removed from the second part of Aquaman.
Thousands of signatures have been collected to request that Amber be removed and that a new artist be the one to play the role of Mera, however, so far Warner Bros. has not made any statement to make her departure official.

However, according to Juliette Lauren Fischer, Executive Producer, Warner Bros.Paris Hilton would have been hired to be the new Mera.
Through a story on Instagram, the executive producer of Warner Bros -Juliette Lauren Fischer- would be confirming Paris Hilton as Mere in Aquaman 2 completely leaving out Amber Heard.
The announcement made by Lauren Fischer would be made from the Upfront 2022 event in New York, where the company announces various news about its future projects.
After its publication, many were surprised because Paris Hilton was not listed between the rumors or desire of the fans to become the new Mera.
The reality was that the name of the British actress Emilia Clarke was the one that sounded the strongest, as well as the favorite of the followers of the famous saga starring Jason Memoa.
