A great success is the choice of 40 years tour. Live to sing it as the name of the national tour initiated by Yordano, on Friday, September 9, at the Hesperia hotel in Valencia.
The first part refers to the anniversary of his career as a soloist, after joining the groups Ford Rojo 1954 and Sietecuero, the latter together with his late brother Evio and Alberto Slezynger, later soloist of Daiquirí, among other musicians.
While the second part of the name evokes a hallelujah, after overcoming the health problems that kept him away from the stage for six years.
Victorious and, more importantly, healthy, the Venezuelan singer-songwriter of Italian origin accepted the proposal from Ventura Producciones, to reunite with the public that has incorporated many of his songs into the soundtracks of their lives.
He will not do it in secret places, but in suitable rooms, so that everyone can shriek as they wish, listen to him in silence or repay with applause the emotional baggage motivated by his compositions.
In principle, the agenda includes eight concerts in seven cities. Those confirmed so far are: on September 17, at the Portuguese Center in Puerto Ordaz; on the 24th, at the Maracay Opera House; on the 29th, in the Aula Magna of the Rafael Urdaneta University; on the 30th, at the Maracaibo Yacht Club; on October 8, at the Trinitarias Suites in Barquisimeto; on the 15th in San Cristóbal; and on November 25, in the Ríos Reyna room of the Teresa Carreño Theater.
good thing happened
Yordano’s first serious contact with music was during his time as an Architecture student at the Central University of Venezuela. There he agreed to be part of Red Ford 1954. However, it would be from his experience with Sietecuero, when he would assume it as a life project, shelving the obtained title.
After four years, in 1982 he recorded the first of two albums as soloist with PolyGram. There was no major impact. The panorama changed when signing with Sonográfico, which developed an intense promotional campaign, including the showcase of its television affiliate, RCTV. Thus, he became one of the champions of the national talent boom that exploded in the penultimate decade of the last century.
The successes flowed one after another: «That secret place», «Dancing so close», «Heart spring», «Something good has to happen», «Another pretty face», «Today we are going out», «I will not move a finger», «Days of June», «Luxury doll», «Black pearl», «With her there is no easy way out» and «Locos de amor», among others that add to what is perhaps his most iconic theme for the viper phenomenon of which he was a part, «Through these streets».
