It is an “exact replica” of the boot on Messi’s left foot with the signature of the 36-year-old Argentine, current Inter Miami forward and eight-time Ballon d’Or winner, whose presence arouses great passions around the world.
Messi’s involvement and “his message is key” in the ecological projects of this environmental organization, since it means being able to reach millions of people and raise awareness about the importance of caring for the environment, Kimber said.
The initiative that resulted from this collaboration will be developed in Rosario (Argentina), hometown of the Inter Miami captain, and will be focused on a project for the decontamination and preservation of the Paraná River, the second largest river system in South America, after the Amazon.
Messi will play a crucial role in “this first objective of the project” in leveraging his credibility to expand the reach of the initiative and amplify the Join The Planet message globally.
“With the funds we obtain we will be able to continue financing the Foundation’s projects around the world,” said Kimber, and stated that 10% of the funds raised from sales of the boot will go to the Foundation.

It is mainly used for its manufacture, recycled nylon plastic from fishing nets, recycled polypropylene plastic from ropes and disposable bottle caps, as well as recycled fiberglass, the Join The Planet manager has detailed.
This organization plans in the future to announce new alliances with public figures for initiatives in favor of natural ecosystems.
