Robert Dante Siboldi, technical director of the Tigres de la UANL cleared up the doubt about the presence of André-Pierre Gignac in the second leg of the round of 16 of the Concacaf Champions Cup against Orlando City in which they will have the experienced French striker.

“André is fit and ready to play tomorrow (Tuesday)”stated the Uruguayan technical director who hopes to break the streak of bad results achieved by the Tigres in the last three games for the Mexican championship in which they are in seventh place in the 2024 Clausura Tournament.
“The latest results have not been what we would have wanted but it always has a positive and negative balance. They have not been favorable, but the positive thing is that we have been improving. I stick with the first half against Toluca and the great game we played against América but the ball didn’t want to go in.”said.
And the Tigres de la UANL add a defeat against the Diablos Rojos del Toluca (2-1), a goalless draw against Orlando City in the first leg of the round of 16 of the Concachampions and the setback recently suffered against the current Mexican soccer champion, to whom he lost the Apertura 2023 final.
However, for this Tuesday at the Robert Dante Siboldi University Stadium he hopes that his team will have learned the lesson that the last match taught them and that against the MLS team they will be able to better execute the dangerous plays that they may generate.
