the mexican soccer player Andrés Guardado confessed in an interview to TUDN that he was afraid of running out of a team just three months before the start of the Qatar 2022 World Cup. The statements were made when questioned about the delay that he experienced to be registered with Real Betis during this season, a situation that ended up being resolved but that did not end up being easy for the captain of the Mexican National Team.

He assured that in this scenario the club should cancel his salary in the same way, however the sports cost would have been irreparable in the face of his World Cup aspirations.

Andrés Guardado admitted that the situation stressed him out and even made him feel frustrated imagining the situation coming to the worst and kept him extremely worried. “Not having a place to play three months before the World Cup, I think there is no money to pay for that,” he said.
