Ayrton Senna is considered one of the best drivers in the history of Formula 1. The historic Senna left great numbers in motorsports in a career full of triumphs, joys and sadness. Netflix will premiere at the end of 2024 a small series under the name of the legend: Ayrton senna.

The legendary Brazilian driver won 3 world championshipsincluding 41 victories, 65 Pole Positions and 80 podiums in ten years of racing that began in 1984 (Records in Formula 1). These great milestones are represented in this new audiovisual product.

“Over six episodes, Senna will show, for the first time, Ayrton’s journey through triumph, disappointment, joy and sadness (…) The fictional series begins with the genesis of the automobile career of the three-time Formula 1 champion, when he moved to England to compete in Formula Ford, and until his tragic accident in Imola, Italy, during the San Marino Grand Prix“explains the franchise.

This audiovisual product will be released at the end of 2024. Ayrton Senna will be played by Gabriel Leone and will also feature other characters that are part of the South American driver’s story, including Xuxa (Pâmela Tomé), Alain Prost (Matt Mella) and the McLaren team director, Ron Dennis (Patrick Kennedy) and Galvão Bueno (Gabriel Louchard) .

This series was produced by Gullane and created in collaboration with Senna Brands and the driver’s family. Gullane is responsible for the creation of more than 50 movies and 30 television shows also exhibited on digital platforms. Gullane has been awarded more than 500 times with multiple nominations at film and television festivals.
