Juan Carlos Cortéz became the new Mexican in European football this Thursday after the Necaxa and the Seville Spanish will reach an agreement for the player to go to the Old Continent where he will be joining the lower categories of the Andalusian team.
Specifically, the Mexican winger, who is barely 18 years old, He will be reporting to the Sevilla under-19 team that lives in the Youth Honor Division in the Spanish championship, according to the information published in a statement from the Spanish team.
For their part, the Rayos del Necaxa celebrated this new challenge in the short career of Juan Carlos Cortéz, who, although he did not make his debut with the team in Liga MX He has extensive experience in the lower categories, having spent time between the sub-18 and the sub-23 of the Mexican team.

Who is Juan Carlos Cortéz?
The Mexican midfielder was born on April 3, 2005 in Hermosillo and began his career in professional soccer with the Cimarrones de Sonora in 2021, going on to play in the third division of Mexican soccer as well as the Promotion League in which he became, at just 16 years old, the youngest footballer to play in that tournament.
He later arrived at Necaxa for the Apertura 2022, a team with which he had experience in various categories until reaching the under-23 level. The midfielder was present on an international tour that the team made and also participated in the Algarve Cup that took place in Portugal.
