Maripily Rivera is one of the contestants of ‘The House of the Famous 4′ who has demonstrated his bravery and strength in every test and challenge. For this reason, his son Joe Joe García Rivera offered an interview to People en Español to talk about his mother’s determination and dedication in everything she does.
“She is determined and strong, as you have seen. But she is also a person who helps others. She is not resentful and she is like most Puerto Rican women, who push forward and face… any adversity makes her stronger,” she added during the conversation that she offered exclusively.
García Rivera spoke of the very high tone of voice that his mother sometimes uses with some inhabitants of the house: “Who screams sometimes, everyone screams at some point. But above all because she doesn’t let herself and we have seen how many people see in her the courage to defend themselves. “After there is no physical aggression we are fine.”
“I have always supported my mother in all her projects and this is one more. It is a determination of hers and I feel happy that she can enjoy this opportunity. I know it’s not easy and I would like to have her here, but her determination is hers and I respect that. What does make me happy is seeing how people are supporting her and identifying with her. The support is very great,” she told People en Español.
“My mother is a gladiator and she will surely go where she wants and the public decides. At the end of the day it is a game and the public is the one who decides,” added Joe Joe.
“But for me She is a winner because I see how people have identified with her style of being organized, disciplined in her things.demanding and mother chick. Who screams sometimes, everyone screams at some point. But above all because she does not let herself and we have seen how many people see in her the courage to defend herself,” García Rivera mentioned.
Furthermore, he did not want to end his speech without first addressing the issue of the attacks: “After there is no physical aggression, we are fine. I think the public already has that answer. You’ve seen how frontal he is. It always goes straight, so no aggression is worth it. Those reality shows are like that, there is everything, drama, exaggerations and admiration with anger that is nothing other than envy. But the important thing is that nothing is personal.”
