The Mexican golfer took the victory in Hong Kong, which was the second of three tournaments that the LIV Golf circuit will play as part of its Asian tour. The next one will be the first days of May in Singapore, but before that they will play again in Miami between April 5 and 7.

For his part, Carlos Ortiz, also a Mexican, finished in fifth place in the tournament after completing a card of 66 strokes (-4) thanks to five birdies and a bogey and with a cumulative score of 198 (-12), just behind the Chilean Joaquín Niemann who finished with seven under par and a total of 198 strokes (-12).

Another Latin American to stand out in Hong Kong was the Colombian Sebastián Muñoz who finished in 21st position with a total of 203 hits (-7).
