Óscar de la Hoya, promoter of Golden Boy Promotions, said that the fight between Ryan García and Devin Haney for the 140-pound championship of the World Boxing Council (WBC) was never in danger of being canceled after King Ry’s controversial messages and erratic behavior before the duel.
