French midfielder Paul Pogba was sanctioned by the Italian Anti-Doping Court. The Juventus Turin player would have given positive for the hormone Dhea in a match for the first day of Serie A. Pogba will not be able to play for the next four years, but in the America Kings League they offer you an alternative.
Paul Pogba’s positive case dates back to August 20, 2023. On that date, Juventus Turin beat Udinese 3-0 on the first day of Italian football. In fact, during that match, the French midfielder did not see action.
“Today I was informed of the decision of the National Anti-Doping Tribunal and I believe that the verdict is incorrect. “I am sad, shocked and heartbroken because everything I have built in my career as a professional player has been taken away from me,” Paul Pogba wrote through his social networks.
The América Kings League would seek to have Paul Pogba
Given this measure imposed by the Italian Anti-Doping Court, Paul Pogba would have an alternative. The Américas Kings League has already been underway for a couple of days. This tournament is a seven-a-side soccer championship whose original format began with the Spanish version led by the former soccer player Gerard Piqué and the streamer Ibai Llanos.
In its version in America, Paul Pogba will be able to participate. This possibility arose from the interest of the emblematic Club de Cuervos, commanded by the Mexican Mercedes Roa.
In fact, this club is led by the Mexican coach Jacques Passy. This strategist has directed professional clubs such as Dorados de Sinaloa, Lorca Deportiva and even the selection of Dominican Republic. Passy acknowledged his interest in having the French midfielder.
“Paul Pogba is one of the best centre-half/box 2 box/containment in history. A 4-year ban at 30 is the virtual end of his career. Beyond judging the legal decision of his sanction…Call me ILLUSION, but…what if he played for @ClubDeCuervos in the next split of the @kingsleague_am?”, was questioned through social networks.
On the first day, Club de Cuervos tied 1-1 with the Galacticos del Caribe in regulation time. In the penalty shootout, Mercedes Roa’s team fell 3-2. For the second day, the Club de los Cuervos achieved its first victory in this edition of the championship. Those led by Jacques Passy beat Atlético Parceros FC 4-3.
In this sense, the Club de Cuervos is in fourth position in the general classification. The club’s next duel will be against Olimpo United, Javier “Chicharito” Hernández’s team.
