Last Thursday Enrique ‘Quique’ Usales received very unfortunate news and that is that He was left off Telemundo’s payroll. However, last year a similar situation occurred when they removed him from ‘Hoy Día’ only that this time they were changing him for the newscast and this time it ended up being a much more drastic change.
‘People en Español’ investigated and confirmed that April 11 was his last day of work at the company.
“Now yes… here we come! Bye Telemundo. To all of you in your homes who shared every noon with me, thank you very much for your love, I hope you had fun and were informed, it was a pleasure to have accompanied you,” he began writing on the camera’s social network.
His departure joins a growing list of talents who have been fired from the network in recent months, which has generated concern among followers and colleagues in the industry. Some of them are Chiquibaby and Adamari López, with whom he came to work on Telemundo’s morning show, but in the end they all ended up getting fired.
“In the newscast I have had colleagues from LUXURY @tavopulido @carlosroblestiempo @nicolesuareztv @miriamcarlaarias and the entire production. And thank you @patsylorisl for your trust. See you soon, as I always say… God willing!”he concluded by saying in his statement.
So far, Telemundo has not given any official statement about the reasons behind Usales’ dismissal.but it is expected that more details will be given soon. Meanwhile, his followers expressed their support and solidarity on social networks, lamenting the departure of such a beloved and recognized talent in the industry.
