After his death, this Saturday, March 9, dozens of people gathered on the Zócalo square to dedicate an emotional “Genkidama” to him, which went viral.
In the videos shared on social networks, several fans of the series starring “Son Goku” can be seen raising their hands, as if they were giving their “energy” to Akira Toriyama.
Later, some began to perform the typical Mexican porra in honor of the Japanese cartoonist.

What is “Genkidama”?
According to the Dragon Ball story, a “Genkidama” is a Goku technique that consists of creating a sphere of energy, which he obtains from living beings on planet Earth and, sometimes, from other parts of the universe.
