Now, Jose Luis Cuevasit seems that he was a little affected by the singer’s statements and has decided to apologize to him.

In a video that he published on social networks, Don José Luis claims to be very sorry for neglecting his son during his childhood, and expressed his desire to meet with him soon to talk about what happened.

“Son, I really feel very bad for having heard this and I realize that you feel or felt very abandoned in those years. These are mistakes we make, this was one of mine and the truth is you felt very abandoned and I always carry that in my heart for all the years,” he expressed.

In the recording, Pedro Fernández’s father looks visibly moved as he asks the interpreter for an opportunity to talk face to face.

“I regret it and I hope that one day these words or this video move you a little, my words caress your heart a little and give me the opportunity one day to be able to speak personallybecause it hurts me, it has hurt me and it will continue to hurt me,” he said.

Pepe Cuevas reiterated that he is open to resuming contact with his son, from whom he has been estranged for years.

“If you agree that you can listen to me personally, great, I’m here for you. I hope that is in your heart, forgive me. I love you very much, take care of yourself and may God always protect you. I love you, son,” he concluded.

At the moment Pedro Fernández has not responded to Don José’s request, since it is worth mentioning that in the same interview, the interpreter of “Amarte A La Antigua” revealed that the person he saw as his father was his grandfather.
