A Canandaigua, New York, man convicted last month of raping a high school student whom he held captive for days is now charged with orchestrate a murder-for-hire plotsupposedly through calls from jail with his girlfriend, and whose victims would be a judge, a prosecutor and a witness, who put him behind bars.

A jury found guilty Alexander Kise21, for rape and other charges on March 15. Prosecutors said he held her victim captive for two days, sexually assaulted, injured and threatened her in June 2022.

But before he could be sentenced, Kise He asked his girlfriend, Alydia Gater, to hire a hitman to kill the judgefor which they would use “Xanax pills as a down payment.” An undercover officer posed as the alleged hitman and that also led to Gater’s arrest.

“There were also plans to take the life of a district attorney and a person who testified at his original trial,” Assistant District Attorney Kelly Wolford announced, revealing that a 16-year-old boy was also arrested.

Kise and his girlfriend made the mistake of planning their plot through jail calls, using specific details such as where the targets livedaccording to prosecutors.

The scheme allegedly advanced when the undercover New York State Police officer was offered Xanax pills as down payment for doing the job, Wolford added.

Kise remains in prison and Gater is also now in custody. Both are being held without bail, while the defendant is still awaiting sentencing for his rape conviction.
