Nick Huoseh, agent of Canadian Alphonso Davies, has rejected the ultimatum imposed by Bayern Munich for the left-back to renew his contract with the Bavarian club.

This increases rumors about Real Madrid’s interest in signing the Canadian player without paying anything to Bayern Munich.

“It is not fair that Alphonso is now attacked. A year ago we were close to reaching an agreement and the entire leadership of the club changed. Then we didn’t hear anything for seven months although I was trying to get in touch with the club,” Huoseh said in statements to the newspaper “Bild”.

Bayern Munich has not had a good sporting moment over the last two seasons after the change in management and this year they announced that Thomas Tuchel is leaving after the end of the season.

“And now they give us an ultimatum and we have to decide within two weeks because the club is under pressure and it took too long to decide on a new dome? That’s not fair,” she insisted.

Davies, according to Huoseh, wants to know what Bayern’s immediate future will be like and does not want to make a decision before knowing who will be the coach next season or which players will remain in the team or will join it.

Thus, Davies will not react to the ultimatum and will wait until the end of the season to decide.

What has Bayern Munich said about Alphonso Davies?

Last week, Bayern sporting director Max Eberl had publicly demanded a quick decision from Davies, also through the pages of “Bild”.

“We have made Alphonso a concrete offer that shows what he is worth to us. At some point in life you have to make up your mind and say yes or no,” Eberl said.

Davies has a contract with Bayern until the summer of 2025 and the Bavarian club does not want him to leave for free Therefore, if he does not renew, he could accept a transfer in the next transfer window.

The 23-year-old Canadian player arrived at Bayern on January 1, 2019 from the Canadian club Vancouver Whitecaps.
