For its part, Getafe added a victory that allows it to continue dreaming about the possibility of fighting for European competition positions for next season. The Madrid team is in ninth place in the standings with 10 wins, 13 draws and 10 losses.
With 43 points and 15 to be played, the blue team is eight points behind Real Sociedad, which is in sixth place, the last one that gives access to the next edition of the Europa League. One place higher is Athletic Club with 58 units, looking to enter the Champions League.
