The lawsuit as such was filed in the city of Miami and demands compensation of no less than one million dollars.. The legal document states that the lawsuit is for defamation and in it requests the court to condemn Juan Rivera for general and special damages suffered due to his defamatory statements. It is known that everything arose as a result of the copyright that the businessman demands regarding the song “Queen Bee.”
Now, the interpreter assures in this lawsuit that the musician and businessman has tried, with all the interviews he has conducted on this topic, basically to “maliciously defame her.”
The accusation that the former resident of La Casa de los Famosos 3 has made for several months is basically plagiarism. Lupillo Rivera’s brother has even pointed out Chiquis for not making the corresponding payments to musical composer Bobby Castro, who, according to him, serves as co-author of said song.
Janney Marín, Chiquis’ real name, has highlighted in her lawsuit all the interviews that Juan Rivera conducted on Telemundo programs such as: “La Mesa Caliente”, “At Home with Telemundo” and “Hoy Día”.
