The magazine Hello! shared a second part of the interview Elizabeth Gutiérrez where she confirmed her separation with William Levy. In this second installment, the actress emphasizes her desire to recover her career and how little by little she is putting together the pieces she has left with the goal of being the mother that her children need.
Her biggest challenge right now, she admits, is coping with everything that comes with a separation like the one she’s going through with William Levy. “I think that right now my priority is for my children to be well, and for me to be well mentally and sentimentally,” Elizabeth says that all she wants is to take care of her family.
Now, in this conversation he admits that his children teach him a lot every day and have become his protectors. “They think they are the adults… they are always taking care of me,” commented the actress with a smile, but she also recognizes that in the midst of all this storm she is going through, she still does not know what the teaching is behind it.
Regarding resuming her love life, later, after everything she experienced with William Levy, the actress categorically states that she loves life as a couple, she loves love, but that at the moment she is not prepared for that, “I haven’t even thought about that”. In her internal reflection you can even hear a lump in her throat before saying: “I was with him for 20 years, that’s all I know.”
“I wouldn’t go back”
The relationship between William Levy and Elizabeth Gutiérrez truly came to an end and it seems that there is no turning back and for this reason she recognizes that now the most important thing for her, as a person and individual, is to continue looking after herself honestly, but she also affirms that although it is not in her power, today she is not willing to return to the father of her children: “I am ready to know myself, to walk and move forward and see what destiny has in store for me. I am a woman of faith. I am testing my faith and I am in God in this decision. It was not an easy decision. If you ask me today, I’ll tell you no, I wouldn’t go back. But I’m not the one who decides.”.
“I am finding the woman I always was. The girl with dreams, the girl who got lost and it’s not bad because my reason was love. I am very private about these things but before someone else decides for me, tells something about my life, I prefer that they hear it from my mouth,” she highlights in the interview.
In tears, Elizabeth Gutiérrez admits that opening up publicly has been very hard, but that she had to make this decision so that no one else would tell her story without her point of view.: “It is very difficult for me to sit here, this is so important and delicate for me that I am simply being what I always was, transparent. It is not a way to free myself and loosen my chains.”
“If I can inspire other women, I feel humbled. If I can help with something, that’s great. But always from the point of sincerity,” concluded the actress.
