Less than a month after starting the fourth season of ‘The House of the Famous‘The actor Gregorio Pernía stopped feeling comfortable and decided to abandon the competition in which he was competing to see if he could become the big winner of $200,000 in cash.
“The third week something came over me, (a feeling), (because) I hadn’t discovered what the confinement was. They put me in a golden cage, logically with a pool, a jacuzzi with a good bed… it’s a hard thing,” she began by saying in an exclusive interview with People en Español.
“The reflection of what you see, I tell you straight, each character that is there is the same reflection of what happens in a society. It’s the same: where evil is, lies to advance.” mentioned to the magazine.
Furthermore, Pernía at one point wanted to believe that they would be carrying out some type of dynamic activities and that was not the case: “I thought we could do an acting, dance and choreography workshop, I thought we could do cooking things. I thought that everything was educational and beautiful, that it was a beautiful experience, but coexistence is tenacious.”
“On the 21st (February) I left. Days before, on February 10, it was eleven days before my departure that I went under. The third week something came over me (a feeling because) I hadn’t discovered what the confinement was. It’s as if a 25-year-old woman marries a 72-year-old man for some things: for some jewelry, bags or houses, and after 3 months that young woman says: ‘For God’s sake, what did I do? They put me in a golden cage, logically with a pool, jacuzzi with a good bed, but it was locked up, limited,’” he added during the exclusive.
“In a prison you receive a conjugal visit on Sundays. It’s a hard thing. Claustrophobia took over and I tell the production that I need to leave and they tell me that the only option I had to leave was with the public vote,” said the renowned Colombian actor.
The audience of the reality show asks many questions and he mentions what he did to leave: “They let me know that I was one of the people with the most votes and that I had a good chance of winning the reality show, but I started to decide and made the decision to retire. I had to reach an economic agreement with the production and I said that my peace of mind and my family has no value, it has no price and I preferred to reach an agreement with the production.”
