Maribel Guardia reveals the request that her son Julián Figueroa made in case something happened to him – El Diario NY

Maribel Guardia remembered how Julián Figueroa asked her to take care of her son in case something happened to him, and although at that moment she simply took it as a casual conversation, today she realizes how important that request was. The actress thanked her fans for the immense love and support they have given her throughout this year.

“You see that when you have children you are always thinking (he told me): ‘Mom, if one day I die, please promise me (that you will take care of José Julián). (I told him): ‘Son, of course I’m going to take care of him, but I’m going to die first, I’m already old, son. That’s how it was, you never know, and it’s real, you never know,” he said in front of the media.

You don’t have to get old to die, we can die at any moment and death is very hard. But we have to think, I do believe in reincarnation, I believe that there is a better life than this, the Virgin of Guadalupe let me see it, I know that it was a gift that God gave me through the Virgin, to see my son in the light, seeing him happy,” he added in front of the cameras.

I woke up crying all day, I cried all night, I wouldn’t want to share sad things with you, and also because without a treasure for me, my pain, the love for my son, the grief I am carrying, although I get up every day and make an effort to smile and continue, it is not easy,” he added.

Guardia remembered Julián with a lot of love and gratitude, mentioning that he will always be present in his heart and will continue to do so with joy and gratitude for the moments shared.

My son was a boy with a heart of gold, he raised money for operations for people in need, he helped children with cancer, He gave money to everyone. He had a chicken heart and I think it was part of his job, that she was going to leave this life so soon. I was at the end studying psychology with a scholarship because I had grades of 10, my son and I had an incredible relationship, we philosophized, we read books, we shared them, we commented on them,” he said.
