The Mexican women’s team gave the bell in the Gold Cup W and defeated his counterpart from the United States at homewhere the contest of the Concacaf.

Lizbeth Ovalle broke the tie in the 38th minute and Mayra Pelayo-Bernal sealed the duel in the 92nd minute to give Mexico the three points that were worth first place.
The United States had won its two previous group stage matches and in convincing fashion. They beat the Dominican Republic 5-0 in their debut and beat Argentina 4-0.
So much Mexico and the United States advanced to the quarterfinalswhich will be held next weekend.
For its part, after the defeat of the Dominicans, Argentina continues in the fight to advance to the quarterfinals as one of the best third places, only They will have to wait for the results of the Group B and Group C matches to find out if they will qualify.
