Mike Tyson, one of the most popular boxers of the last 30 years, will fight Jake Paul in a gigantic event that will have Netflix broadcasting its first fight on the streaming platform.

The fight will be on July 20 and will be broadcast exclusively on Netflix. The fight will take place at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, in a venue with a capacity of 80,000 people.

“It’s crazy to think that in my second professional fight I went viral for knocking out Nate Robinson on the Mike Tyson undercard. Now, less than four years later, I’m going to face Tyson myself to see if I have what it takes to beat one of the most notable fighters and one of the biggest icons in boxing,” Jake Paul said.

The presentation on social networks was on Netflix with a video of a face to face of Paul and Tyson on a helipad. This adds to Netflix’s efforts to continue adding live events to one of the most popular streaming platforms.

Mike Tyson wants to measure Jake Paul’s ambition in the boxing ring

“I’m looking forward to getting in the ring with Jake Paul at AT&T STADIUM IN ARLINGTON, TEXAS,” said Mike Tyson. “He has grown significantly as a boxer over the yearsso it will be a lot of fun to see what the will and ambition of a “kid” can do with the experience and aptitude of a GOAT,” commented Tyson.

Tyson will return to the boxing ring since he fought Roy Jones in 2020 Jr in an eight-round exhibition fight.

“It’s a coming full circle moment that will be more than exciting to watch; since I started him on his boxing journey on the undercard of my fight with Roy Jones and now I plan to finish it,” concluded the former heavyweight champion.

The AT&T in Cowboy Dallas will host the great event between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul

Stadium features include seating for 80,000 people and expansion capacity for up to 100,000, more than 300 luxury suites, club seating on multiple levels and the Dallas Cowboys Pro Shop, open to the public year-round.

This stage has been part of major events such as Super Bowl XLV and the NBA All-Star Game in 2010.
